We're seeking Clinical Nurses to join Capricornia Offender Health , delivering high-quality care in a correctional health setting. This role offers variety across primary healthcare, emergency care, rural nursing, and wound management . Location: North Rockhampton, Qld Contract Dates: ASAP - 18 September 2025 Vacancies: 2 Hours & Shift Type: 76 hrs/fortnight | Facility operates 24/7 - all shifts | No on-call Pay Rate: Up-to $80 (based on experience and shift) Benefits Shared accommodation provided (not on site, own transport required) Travel provided Supportive and secure correctional healthcare team Complex clinical exposure including emergency and primary care services What You'll Need Current AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement Credentialing as per CQHHS policy ODT and Hepatitis C prescribing capability Advanced Life Support, triage, and resuscitation skills IV cannulation, emergency, rural nursing, pain and wound management skills Queensland Corrections Check (or willingness to obtain) and National Police Clearance Driver's licence and own transportation Completion of mandatory annual training (e.g., BLS, Code of Conduct, Cultural Awareness, Infection Control, etc.) Nice to Have Previous correctional healthcare experience Familiarity with CQHHS systems and regional healthcare Ready to Join?
